I feel so different from how I used to be. I feel peaceful. I never knew change had to be so painful, but I feel ready.
When I look back on the good times we had I don't feel like they were any less sweet because of how it ended, they were my high school years, and I had some great years. I am sad that the end came so bitterly in some aspects but I can't feel anything but gratitude for the time and memories that I had with these people. I loved lauren, and I still think of her fondly, I probably always will. Last summer I felt closer to her than I ever had and I remeber being so excited because I thought it was my turn to know her. I still remeber when erin, megi and I would walk home from school and hang out doing nothing every friday. I remeber when we were so close and did theatre together and talked to brandon fenwick in the hall every morning. I made stupid choices, started stupid fights and made life harder for myself because of it but hopefully someday they will see past that and feel the same about our memories.
Megan, oh megan. I have so much affection and love for you, even now. You were my best friend in high school, when I think back in 30 years that is what I will remember. You knew me so well, you were like an extention of my mind and I of yours. When no one else could make it right, you could. I never would have survived without you and I am so sad that I cannot be here for your senoir year, that we couldn't do it together. Things might've been so different. We've already grown apart and changed so much, for better and worse the both of us. My hope for you is that you arent scared to let people in, I know they hurt you but I promise, there's nothing else worth hurting for. I want you to have an amazing senior year, please dont make the same mistakes I made, and I think you know what I mean. I'm not sure if I should be scared for you or not. I remeber who you were, who you are, and you are kind, strong, intelligent, beautiful and caring, please don't lose yourself. I love you so much, your friendship has been the rock of my adolescence. And for that I thank you.
Jacky. I cry everytime I want to call you to hang out and remeber that youre gone. This year I relied on you so much for everything. I lost megan to alex somewhat and you were always there for me. I am never as good as when youre there =). You have stood by me through everything and we have such a strong connection and understanding. You are the only friend I have that is loyal and are one of the few worth keeping past high school. I hope we stay friends for a very very long time, till were old and Im visiting you and your lovely wife in your gorgeous house, located conviently near pixar. Thank you for being what I needed and for the hope of our futures intertwined. |

michael simmons. An interesting and, it must be said, pathetic, excuse for a male member of our species, is getting on my nerves. I am the only person who thinks he needs to know that we find his behavior unacceptable. I know many of us would have absolutely no qualms about completely removing him from out lives. I listen to everyone and anyone rant, and I honestly don't mind because you are always there for me and that's what friends are for, but I have been sick all day, I have to go wash cars in the cold and rain tommorrow and I didnt want to have to do this tonight. But I did. I tried my best to tell the little fucker that he is in danger of losing many of his closest friends in the nicest way possible for someone who has vomitted thier guts out all afternoon and evening. To no avail.

Dear friend, I am angry at you. Extremely angry. I do everything you ever ask of me, I support you in everything, I would do just about anything for you. I show concern for you in one conversation and it's okay for you to talk to me like that? No. It's not okay. I have always been there for you when you needed me, I ALWAYS stick up for you, even if I secretly think you've done something wrong, and I always do everything I can to help you with anything you need help with, wether you ask for it or not. I know what it's like to be worried about what you're concerned with right now, in fact I know much better than you. So please, the next time you want to bite my head off in a self-righteous rant, please think about what you're doing and who you are talking to because unlike some, I won't take your shit.
